The BSDS 18th Annual Trainee Day will take place on Thursday 23rd November 2023 via Zoom. Chaired by Dr Richard Barlow, BSDS Committee Trainee representative.

The BSDS Trainee Day offers a chance for registrars to improve and update their skin surgery through a variety of lectures and case discussions. With a varied programme relevant to daily dermatology practice, as well as the option to learn about more advanced techniques, it will be of use to those at all stages of training.
The course will be led by a range of experienced surgeons and speakers from across the UK and gives a unique opportunity to interact with them, discuss cases and ask questions in a small group setting. This is an educational experience not to be missed!
Although this course is primarily aimed at dermatology registrars the day may also appeal to SHOs and GPs.

BSDS Trainee member – £40
Non-BSDS member (trainee) – £70
Trainee non-member – BSDS Trainee membership offer (registration & membership) – £50

Abstract Submission
Delegates are encouraged to submit a brief case <200 words detailing a unique and interesting skin reconstruction. The 2 best abstracts will be presented on the day and be given 5 minutes + questions. Whilst the abstract does not need to include them if unable to be sourced at the time, we expect lots of pictures pre, peri and post-operative in the presentation on the day. The best 2 abstracts will receive a free attendance on the course.
Please register and pay for your place on the course as normal. If your abstract application is successful, the course fee will be refunded back to your account.

BSDS Membership Offer
If you are a dermatology registrar and would like to apply for BSDS membership, you can benefit from a reduced subscription fee of £20 (usually £30) when registering for this course.
The BSDS Membership Offer is open to all trainees in dermatology in the UK and Ireland holding a National Training Number.
